# 2024 April 25: Walking Tour of Washington Grove

## The Basics

* D**URATION:**  One to two hours
* **MEETING PLACE:**  The Nunda Boulevard entrance to Washington Grove ([MAP LINK](https://maps.app.goo.gl/LFAvK8iNGWAzn6vW9))
* **TICKETS:** None. Reservations in advance are not required. This tour is FREE and open to the public.

## Description

Join [The Bird House](https://www.thebirdhouseny.com/) and [Friends of Washington Grove](https://friendsofwashingtongrove.org/) for a Bird Walk in Rochester's "Forest in the City," Washington Grove. The tour will be led by Kristy Liddell, president of [Friends of Washington Grove](https://friendsofwashingtongrove.org/) and a longtime resident of the Upper Monroe neighborhood.

## Important Notes

* “BYOB” Bring your own binoculars. Binoculars are encouraged but NOT required.
* Participants are reminded to dress for the weather and the time of year. Washington Grove can be muddy/soggy in April. Mornings in April can also be chilly.
* There are no bathrooms in Washington Grove
