# 2024 August 21: A discussion about bringing "Garden Walk" to Upper Monroe

## Background:

Over more than ten years - on an every-other-year basis - the [ABC Streets Neighborhood Association](https://www.abcstreets.org/) has hosted well attended, well regarded casual walking tours highlighting the lovely private gardens in their neighborhood. UMNA would like to consider offering a [Garden Walk program](https://www.abcstreets.org/garden-walk) in our neighborhood in 2025 when the ABC Streets NA program is on it's planned off-year hiatus.\
\
Co-founder of the Garden Walk program, Esther Brill, will share information about their program. We'll have a chance to ask questions and bounce ideas around. While we won't make any decisions at this meeting, the conversation will provide an opportunity to consider if such a program would be of interest in our neighborhood. Subsequent conversations will determine if/how we go forward.
