## Project Description

Jeanne Weber will lead the group to sites on Pinnacle Hill in order to remove invasive smaller [tree-of-heaven, China-sumac](https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.nature.org/en-us/about-us/where-we-work/united-states/indiana/stories-in-indiana/journey-with-nature--tree-of-heaven/\&sa=D\&source=calendar\&usd=2\&usg=AOvVaw3zqJdGQJfu4Ie0IQHtrcCK) **seedling** plants. (We will not be removing big trees.)

Gardening knowledge is not required. Knowledgeable individuals will participate and provide guidance. If possible, please bring a small garden shovel for light digging and root removal. Shrub/Tree snips are helpful. Gardening gloves are recommended. We will not be using any power tools.

This project is appropriate for any adult in good health and younger volunteers over 13 years of age. We will be working as a team. This is an excellent opportunity for young people to get some hands-on experience and learn forestry skills.\
