## Activity Description

The [Upper Monroe Neighborhood Association](https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.uppermonroe.com/\&sa=D\&source=calendar\&usd=2\&usg=AOvVaw2ygZfOyMXQVQvP4JAt4vTT) is organizing a neighborhood-based effort to clean up the Children's Garden on Laburnam Crescent/Luzerne Street.

Friends and neighbors will gather at the Children's Garden on Laburnam Crescent/Luzerne Street at noon on Saturday, May 11th.

No special skills/tools. We're not trimming trees/bushes. We're not cutting grass. We're just picking up debris, pulling weeds and laying in some mulch. This is pretty low skill, light work. Volunteers are encouraged (but not required) to bring some garden appropriate gloves and a rake. *Easy!*

\
Volunteers who are over 18 years of age are NOT required to be property owners or even residents of the Upper Monroe neighborhood. Volunteers do NOT need to be a member of the Upper Monroe Neighborhood Association to participate.\
\
Children under 12 years of age may participate when accompanied by a legally responsible adult. Teens under 18 may participate without a legally responsible adult but they will be partnered with adults.
