# Adopt-A-Block

## Overview

"Adopt-A-Block" activates neighbors on every street that crosses Monroe Ave. Each neighbor walks down to the corner and picks up litter along their ONE BLOCK section of Monroe Avenue. At the same time everyone can keep an eye on any larger items or overflowing city trash bins. Instead of mounting HUGE efforts a couple of times a year (and seeing trash pile up in between) neighbors each take a small section on a regular basis. *Simple & effective!*
