What next on ZAP?

• The City of Rochester’s ZAP team will review comments submitted by all interested parties and prepare a newly revised edition of the proposed zoning code. (Beginning February 1, 2024)

• The City of Rochester’s ZAP team will release the "Comment Disposition Recommendations Report" that includes all written comments submitted by the interested parties. SEE BELOW.

• The newly revised proposed “final draft” of the zoning code will be released sometime later in this year.

• Rochester City Council will then hold public hearings on the “final draft” of the zoning code.

• Rochester City Council will vote on the “final draft” of the zoning code.

• When a final version of the zoning code is approved by the City, the new zoning code will be implemented. This may happen as early as this year but many people think it may happen in 2025.
