Block Parties

This program is funded in part through an Neighbors In Action (NIA) grant facilitated by the City of Rochester.

Program Description

This year UMNA identified a goal to encourage individual blocks, streets or sections of streets in Upper Monroe to build their part of the community by hosting their own mini-event. The grant would be used to support that goal by encouraging participation and purchasing food and related supplies on an as needed basis. UMNA expects 3-5 such “block” events this season.
