### 1. Monroe Avenue is free of trash & debris

#### Actions beginning in 2024

* Participate in the City of Rochester's program known as “Clean Sweep”. UMNA puts it's unique spin on this program calling it "Clean & Preen" so that we can attach some spring preening around our community gardens on and near Monroe Avenue. More on this topic under [Monroe Avenue is a PLACE & a DESTINATION](/work-plan-and-budget/multi-year-monroe-avenue-revitalization-plan/monroe-avenue-is-a-place-and-a-destination.md).
* Partner with “[Walking For Rochester](https://walkingforrochester.org/)” to tidy up Monroe Ave on a regular basis over the warm weather months.
