# Donate

## Donation Guidelines\*

A set dollar amount of dues is not required for membership in [UMNA](https://www.uppermonroe.org/). The *suggested* donation for individual members is $10.00 and $5.00 for a senior citizen/student/tenant **OR the amount of YOUR choice**.

Financial donations to UMNA may not be designated for particular purposes or limited to any particular use except when UMNA designates a particular purpose. All donations contribute to UMNA's general operating fund. However, if you would are interested in organizing a fundraising campaign to target a particular purpose or if you would like more information about UMNA's budget or finances please write to [umna@uppermonroe.org](mailto:undefined).

## Who might want to donate?

1. Those who have just joined UMNA and would like to make a dues donation.  FYI: If you are not already a member of UMNA and you would like to consider joining, please go to [Join UMNA](/join-umna.md).
2. Those who are already members of UMNA and who want to make an **additional** financial donation.
3. Those who are **not** members or who are **not** located in Upper Monroe neighborhood and would like to make a financial donation.
