## Guidelines & Process

* You may suggest yourself or anyone else who is qualified to be a member of UMNA. (Member qualifications are listed [here](https://www.uppermonroeavenue.org/join-umna/information-and-requirements).)
* Those who are suggested do NOT have to be a member at the time they are suggested. However, those *elected* to any of the posted positions must be members of UMNA.
* You may suggest yourself or someone else for more than one office.
* Submissions will not be made public. Only the slate designated by the Nominating Committee will be public.
* Nominees will be contacted by the UMNA Nominating Committee. 
* The Nominating Committee will designate a slate on or before February 16th.
* The slate will be considered along with any nominations offered by UMNA members from the floor at the [UMNA Business Meeting on March 23, 2024](https://www.uppermonroeavenue.org/events-activities-and-meetings/coming-events-and-meetings/saturday-march-17-2024-winter-business-meeting) after which time the members will vote.\*
